From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly welcome. Our room had an absolutely jaw-dropping view of the lake, especially at night with the city lights and fountain. We were so impressed by the staff's communication and willingness to accommodate our late arrival. The location was perfect - within walking distance of the city center and surrounded by natural beauty. The wooden house had a charming historical vibe and every little detail added to its character. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this place for a memorable summer getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel located right next to a beautiful lake and the charming old town. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities we needed. The surrounding garden was a great addition, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The owner also recommended a lovely breakfast place just a short walk away from the hotel. The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous, overlooking a hill, the lake, and the old town. If we ever visit Talsi again, this hotel will definitely be our top choice. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! Our room was spotless, and we enjoyed the beautiful lake view from the window. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great suggestions for nearby activities we could do. They even allowed us to do our laundry for a small fee. The location was perfect, as it was in a peaceful area with great dining options nearby, but still within walking distance of the city centre.
Can’t fault the property in any way.

Value for money was outstanding. The room had an incredible view of Talsi lake, especially at night with the beautiful city lights. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, providing great communication throughout our stay.
Breakfast selection could be improved, as it was challenging to find early morning options in the area on weekends.

The guest house provided basic necessities such as clean towels and bed linens, which was appreciated. the location of the guest house was close to a popular lake and some nearby restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite to eat.
The walls of the guest house were very thin, so we could hear everything from nearby rooms, including snoring and talking. the shared kitchen was a bit lacking, with only a microwave and minimal dishware available.

Loved the helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The location was amazing, with stunning views of the lake and old town. Plus, it was a short and enjoyable walk to the city centre where we found great restaurants and shops. The room had a kettle with tea and coffee, which was a nice touch, and the spacious layout gave us plenty of room to relax after a long day of exploring.
While the room had good sound insulation, we could still hear some noise from the neighbouring room. , the lack of a full kitchen and cooking utensils made self-catering challenging, but we found nearby places to dine out.
